Mein Name ist Brigitte. Ich bin, und das ist genug. Es gibt nichts mehr über mich zu wissen oder zu sagen.
Ich folge meinem Herzen und meiner Freude. Freude bringt mir das Malen, Kunst hier vor allem Bilder und Fotografien und Skulpturen, Musik von Klassik über Chanson, Jazz, Blues, Soul und Pop bis hin zu japanischer, indischer oder hawaiianischer Musik, die Natur, ob im Wald, in den Bergen, an einem See, Fluss oder Meer spielt keine so große Rolle. Und ich lese gerne gute Geschichten und liebe Sprachen, die den Zugang zu anderen Kulturen ermöglichen, aber auch Ausdruck unserer eigenen Identität, Gefühlswelt und des Humors sind, den wir haben oder manchmal auch vermissen.
Ich male aus Freude. Ich mag Farben und Formen. Schon als Kind habe ich gemalt. Zuerst Prinzessinnen in ihren Reifröcken in allen Variationen und dann auch andere Dinge, wie z.B. Snoopy und seine Freunde für einen Partykeller oder die Stationen einer Reise nach Florenz.
Die Inspiration für meine Bilder bekomme ich durch Meditationen, Bilder, die mir zufliegen oder die Natur zeigt mir ein Bild in Form von Wolken oder anderen Zeichen. Auch Musik inspiriert mich und natürlich das, was ich auf Reisen sehe und erlebe.
Mit meinen Bildern möchte ich Freude in die Welt bringen und natürlich auch zum Nachdenken anregen, wo es angebracht ist. Aber vor allem wähle ich die Freude. Freude ist das, wofür wir hier sind, und wir sind hier, um unsere Kreativität in allen Variationen auszudrücken.
Wenn Du meine Bilder magst und sie Dir gefallen, freue ich mich. Und wenn Du meine Bilder nicht magst, ist das auch gut. Alles, was jetzt ist, ist gut.
In diesem Sinne male ich autodidaktisch. Ich habe keine Kunstakademie besucht. Titel und Diplome halte ich für überbewertet. Wir sind alle kreativ und musikalisch und drücken das auf unterschiedliche Weise aus, wenn wir uns endlich nicht mehr um die Zwänge der sogenannten Gesellschaft kümmern und bei uns sind; in unserer Freude.

I follow my heart and my joy. Painting brings me joy, art here especially paintings and photographs and sculptures, music from classical to chanson, jazz, blues, soul and pop to Japanese, Indian or Hawaiian music, nature, whether in the forest, in the mountains, by a lake, river or sea doesn’t play such a big role. And I like to read good stories and love languages that give us access to other cultures, but are also an expression of our own identity, emotional world and the humor that we have or sometimes miss.
I paint out of joy. I like colors and shapes. I have been painting since I was a child. First princesses in their hoop skirts in all variations and then other things, such as Snoopy and his friends for a party room or the stops on a trip to Florence.
I get the inspiration for my paintings from meditation, images that come to me or nature shows me an image in the form of clouds or other signs. Music also inspires me and, of course, what I see and experience while traveling.
With my pictures I want to bring joy into the world and, of course, make people think where appropriate. But above all, I choose joy. Joy is what we are here for, and we are here to express our creativity in all its variations.
If you like my pictures and you love them, I am happy. And if you don’t like my pictures, that’s fine too. Everything that is now is good.
In this sense, I paint self-taught. I didn’t go to an art academy. I think titles and diplomas are overrated. We are all creative and musical and express that in different ways when we finally stop worrying about the constraints of so-called society and are with ourselves; in our joy.
